The Uniqueness of God

When we try to explain God based on our experiences we will create heresies.  We can only explain God based on what He has told us about Himself.  For God is not a man (Num 23:19).

One God
" Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." James 2:19
"I and my Father are one." John 10:30
Christ the Word, the only-begotten of God, was one with the eternal Father, -one in nature, in character, and in purpose.
" In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:1-3

Three Persons in the Godhead
There are tree living persons of the heavenly trio: in the name of these three great powers- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit- those who receive Jesus by living faith are baptized.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Mat 28:19

Thought to ponder
God did not only gave His only begotten Son to die in our place, God died in our place.
